‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that it may have been brief, but Nicole Walker portrayer, Arianne Zucker thoroughly enjoyed exploring the E-Cole relationship again- especially as she was finally able to clock some screen time with EJ 2.0 portrayer, Dan Feurriegel.
“I like these two characters [together] and I love when Ali’s [Sweeney, Sami Brady] in the mix of it, “ Arianne told Soap Opera Digest.
She further described her appreciation that the writers still remember the relationships of days gone by and don’t shy away from revisiting them.
“I love when they reflect back on things…you never know when things will come around again,” the soap veteran continued.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: How Does Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) Really Feel About EJ DiMera 2.0 Portrayer, Dan Feuerriegel?
Of course, things looked a little different for E-Cole this time around, now that Aussie actor, Dan has taken over from the handsome Brit, James Scott. However, Arianne feels Dan didn’t miss a beat and was impressed with her co-star before even having the opportunity to step into a scene with him.
“I saw Dan working on the feed and was like, ‘Wow! He’s really, really good!’” the newly affianced (to ex-costar Shaun Christian (ex-Daniel Jonas)) actress gushed. “I wanted to share that with him because it’s hard to fill shoes.”
Especially when those shoes belonged to the debonair, James.
As sweet as her reputation, Arianne described going out her way to welcome Dan into the cast. She also had some advice for the newbie…who isn’t such a newbie anymore.
“Whatever you do, just don’t read the negative comments because, unfortunately, there will be people who will share that they don’t like you. That’s on them how they feel.”
Her next piece of advice for the Spartacus alum was a little lighter.
“Number two, I told him to just have a god time creating his EJ. And I feel like that’s what he’s done. He’s such as solid actor and I love his intensity.”
