‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) has a new romantic rival in Arianna Hernandez (Marissa Reyes), who is being SORAS’d into a troublemaking teen.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Holly Isn’t About To Give Up On Doug
As soon as Ari arrives in town, she and Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) hit the sheets. Apparently, the two of them have a past connection. Holly is no stranger to having to compete for a young man’s attention.
After all, Tate Black (Leo Howard) got Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) pregnant when they were on a break. Sophia warned Holly that she wouldn’t hesitate to steal Tate from her, and she and Tate are officially over (for now), as Holly didn’t want to be a part of all the baby drama.
Not to mention, Tate ratted out Holly’s “friend” Doug to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and told her he pilfered her necklace, which was a precious family heirloom.
Since then, Holly has been helping Doug out of one jam after the next. When street thugs demanded money from him, Holly gave Doug the cash to pay them off.
She also offered him a place to stay at the Kiriakis mansion after Julie kicked him out. However, Doug has been distancing himself from Holly in an effort to protect her from all the trouble that seems to follow him.
Doug is now staying at a homeless shelter and working at the Brady Pub. Holly has a kind heart, and she’s not about to give up on Doug.
When Holly learns that Doug and Ari slept together, will she realize she has more than just “friendly feelings” for Doug? Spoilers indicate that in addition to bedding Doug, Ari also lies to her mom, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), that she needs money so she can give Doug some dough.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Doug And Arianna Share An Already Established Bond
Doug is still struggling to rid himself of these hoodlums who continue to demand cash, and he doesn’t want to further involve Holly, who has stuck her neck out for him on several occasions.
Holly knows that Doug has made some mistakes, but she also knows that, deep down, Doug is a “good guy,” and she will continue to help him in any way she can.
It was also clear when Doug accidentally saw Holly in her provocative lingerie before she was about to meet Tate for a romantic rendezvous at the Horton Cabin, that he couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Doug even admitted to her that he had strong feelings for her, despite her still being with Tate. It’s entirely possible that Ari is a familiar fling, but we can see the two young ladies clashing when it comes to Doug.
The three of them could become a fascinating love triangle. However, it could go in the other direction and bring Holly and Tate back together.
Since Doug and Ari share an already established bond, it could send Holly back into Tate’s arms. Sophia and Tate have plans to give their baby up for adoption, and it’s conceivable that if and when that occurs, Holly and Tate will reunite. However, we can’t count Doug out just yet.
