‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers relate that Salem is in for some holidays in Hell! Well, at least that’s how one character feels about it. Let’s recap some of the highlights of Thanksgiving in Salem. Let’s start with the drama at the Kiriakis house.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – DOOL Holidays in Hell in Salem

‘Days of Our Lives’ relate that Victor isn’t happy at all to have certain people descending on his home, and he expresses that in his typical Victor (John Aniston) way (we love this character). He starts by refusing to tell where Sonny (Freddie Smith) has gone to, infuriating Adrienne (Alison Sweeney) and Justin (Wally Kurth). Victor’s motivation? Because he doesn’t like Will (Chandler Massey) after the way he broke Sonny’s heart before. Will, of course, happens to arrive just in time to hear Victor’s rant and obviously doesn’t stay for dinner. Victor’s equally unhappy about Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) presence after what he’s done and makes those feelings quite clear as well. This leads to an argument that has Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) telling him off for his lack of a heart.

Victor and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) are alone in the living room when Victor begins choking on an appetizer. Luckily, Sarah is still there with Eric, and Maggie yells for help. Sarah is able to help Victor and he then invites Eric to stay. Aww… he does have a heart.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Elsewhere in Salem…

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers relate that after having left in a huff, Adrienne and Justin decide to go have a meal elsewhere. They go to a restaurant where they end up having a dinner of sandwiches and chips. Will, who is still trying to get in touch with Sonny, happens across them (why not?) and is invited to stay. They have a nice moment where Sonny’s parents make it clear that Will is a part of their family and that Sonny would be very happy to know they’re all eating together.

Eventually, the impromptu party breaks up and Will is once more alone, looking at pictures of Sonny on his phone before trying to get in touch one more time. He confesses how he feels and how thankful he is to have Sonny in his life when guess who pops up? Yep. Seems Victor’s scare caused him to decide to do the right thing and get Sonny to come back.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Holiday misunderstandings and compromises

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers relate that elsewhere in Salem, Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) are hosting their own get-together, which also brings some drama. At the center of it is Sheila, who is offended that Julie assumed she was there to do dishes. Julie, understandably confused and annoyed, explains that no one told her Sheila didn’t decide to accept the offered job.

As if that wasn’t enough, Lani has to miss the small gathering because of a short staff and a domestic disturbance call. Meanwhile, Abe and Valerie are dealing with their own issues. He’s still trying to cope with the idea of Valerie leaving, while Valerie is not sure how to choose between Abe and her dream.

Over the course of the yearly tradition of giving thanks, the pair seems to do a lot of thinking, especially Abe. He decides that he can’t ask Valeria to give up her big opportunity and agrees to try making the long-distance thing work.

    B. Novak is and has always been a soap opera lover. He was first introduced to the world of soaps when his mom used to watch them when he was a kid in French. Yes, in French! That's how he first discovered the wickedly delicious beauty of the sinuous storylines that make the soap opera world. He had to take a break for some time due to other life commitments but he's back to watching Soap Operas and looks forward to writing about them each and every day.
