Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, May 17 relate that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will be happy to see Sarah Horton again. He was always quite enamored of her and there was a time when the two had a rather steamy hook-up, so he will be pleased to have her on his radar again. However, Sarah’s not so pleased, she would rather forget those moments ever happened (we’ve all been there, girl!) considering how Eric had a fit after it happened.

Sarah wonders why on earth he’s there, but Xander tells her he’s come to stay in Salem and that’s all thanks to a deal he cut with Brady Black to get a new job at Titan, and Xander tells Sarah that she could have a piece of the pie if she’d consider giving him a second chance.

But no, not today Satan. Sarah doesn’t want anything to do with Xander romantically (thank God, she doesn’t need someone who plots to kidnap children.), she will turn him down flat. However, Xander just seems to think that she’s playing a rather difficult game of hard to get on expert level. He won’t give up that easily, even though the audience knows that it would be better if he did. But since when do soap characters listen to us, eh?
Meanwhile, Nicole Walker has a list of people she wants to tear into, and while we know that Eric is at the very tip top of the list, he isn’t present at the moment, but Chloe is! So Chloe will get a nice new one ripped by Nicole. While she limps off to lick her wounds, Nicole will basically go and high-five Xander and thank him for his scheming. Because it makes perfect sense to go thank the guy who kidnapped your daughter and fake her death, such logic.
DOOL spoilers reveal that the big reveal that will be made today is the fact that Xander and Nicole are in cahoots. Again, you just have to admire the logical reasoning behind all of this—oh wait—there is none! There could also be a secondary big reveal, maybe Nicole isn’t who she says she is to begin with, maybe she’s someone else entirely. But who? A faceless assassin all the way from Westeros, maybe? Stay tuned!
