‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers update for Friday, March 22 relate that John has some questions for Diana, he wants to talk about the attempts on Marlena’s life and Diana will start to panic because if he suspects anything, that’ll be the end for her. She was hoping that by now, Marlena would be pushing up daisies and that she would be the one comforting poor John in the tragic loss of his wife, but now it looks like she’ll be the one sailing down the river and losing him forever. Should’ve left well enough alone, Diana! On Friday he’ll be setting the trap for Monday’s episode. I think the lesson of the year here is “don’t play a playa”, John was schooled in espionage, he knows a trickster when he sees one.

Speaking of tricksters, Leo will feel like he’s been had when Brady manages to rope him into his little set-up. Meanwhile, Brady feels pretty stoked with himself. Leo realizes what’s gone down when Stefan tears him a new one over a botched business deal. (Brandon Barash will now be portraying Stefan DiMera.) Haley will break the news to JJ that she will be marrying Tripp, ultimately hurting him. He doesn’t understand why she would be marrying Claire Brady’s boyfriend, but she tries to make her case for the marriage and get JJ to accept it.

Poor Claire though, when Tripp finally tells her what is going on—all bets are on Claire exploding. (I mean, it is Claire after all.) She wonders how on earth he could even consider something like this and is very hurt by this revelation. However rail she might against the marriage, she won’t be able to persuade Tripp’s mind. He is helping Haley stay in the country and that’s final. Claire won’t be on board with this, but there is nothing she can do. She will have to sit back and watch as her boyfriend marries someone else. Maybe her Auntie Ciara can offer some advice in the lovelorn department, after all they’re both suffering break-ups at this point—oh wait… that would be a horrible idea, wouldn’t it?
