‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Feeling the strain
Sarah’s confessed her feelings to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and has been turned down. Eric had made a deal with God for his mother’s recovery, and he’s not going to go back on it. She’s clearly disappointed and later goes home, where Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) sees her looking stressed and wants to know what’s up. She admits that she’d kissed Eric, confessed her feelings, and got burned. Maggie is sympathetic and tries to encourage her a little, but Sarah is going to respect Eric’s wishes. Maggie is concerned about Sarah continuing her relationship with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), because she sees it as settling. Sarah’s willing to give things a chance still, and she and Rex have a cute night in that results in Sarah being clumsy and twisting her ankle.

Countdown to Deportation
Haley’s under the gun, with only thirty days left in the country, and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) wants to solve her problem by getting married. She’s all “you crazy or something?” but JJ really does think it’s the best option. He wants to help her after getting her in this mess, and had feelings for her anyway. Plus, they’d been getting so close before it all went down. She says she has to think about it, then heads back to the loft. There, she tells Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) what happened, and how she’s actually considering it.
Speaking of Tripp, he’d gotten some hell from Claire earlier after he’d learned the deportation decision. He went on about how unfair it was and what Hayley must be dealing with, and Claire’s all “Hayley, Hayley, Hayley!” before accusing him of being obsessed. He assures her that’s not the case, and eventually calms Claire down to the point she offers to use her massive social following and musical talents to maybe help Hayley’s case. But before all that, she wants to make a dinner for Tripp and have a date night in. He agrees, and Claire runs off to get everything set. She arrives to find Tripp very serious. He says there’s something she’s not going to like. When the scene changes yet again to JJ’s apartment, we find out what that is: Hayley is going to marry Tripp, not JJ. Dang. Little miss stability is going to have the meltdown to end all metldowns. We suggest that Tripp and Hayley get as far from the loft and Claire as possible…

Also today
Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) romantic night at the pub is interrupted by Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini), who says they’ve learned there was more than one shooter at the DiMera mansion. The two leave to follow-up on the lead, while Rafe continues to stew over Ted’s proximity to Hope. Ted, by the way, has been insisting today that he’s serious about wanting to keep this job and be a better person. He also promised Hope there would be no more of those conflict of interest situations like in the Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) situation.
