Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 21: Decision day?
First, the custody situation might be resolved as the parties meet up to discuss the issue. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Chad will be asked about how to resolve the custody question. While we’d like to hear him say that Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) can mind their business and go back home, we doubt that’s going to be the response. But we do see Chad refusing to just capitulate to whatever they want, and he’ll insist that he keeps his kids with him. As it should be. We’re hoping that Chad will prevail, but we do have concerns. Especially since Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) will be recast at some point. We can see this as being a way to write out the character for a while as he lives with his grandparents in Boston. We’ll see.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 21: Book Club
Elsewhere, Foster quickly became a favorite of ours, and we’re glad the writers decided to keep the character around instead of having him move away with the bookstore sale. Now, we’ll get to see him more involved in the action as leads the book club. He’ll meet Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and lead them through their book, as well as what we assume will end up being some form of therapy. He’s been through the same thing the girls have and has lived with it longer, so we’re sure at some point he’ll have some advice for the group.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 21: Pep talk
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal the weekly showed Thomas feeling as if this whole custody mess is entirely his fault. While we do think he has responsibility here, we think the adults (we’re looking at you Jennifer), are far more to blame. Teasers say that Jeremy will be there to give Thomas a pep talk.
Say what you want about his past, and his possible guilt in the Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) situation, but we do think he’ll be a good sounding board for Thomas. He’s given some decent insight into issues before. Plus, he has no illusions about the Horton piousness.
