Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24: The inevitable
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal not surprising news. Well, it sort of it. See, we were expecting disaster to strike Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). What soap couple doesn’t have that happen when one is still holding a secret? Still, we didn’t expect it to happen this quickly.
We’re not sure how it happens, but Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will learn the truth about Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) attack. In the promo, she tells Sarah that Xander’s been lying to her. This will prompt Sarah to ask Xander to tell her he wasn’t the one who attacked Philip. Xander, obviously feeling guilty during that therapy session, will admit the truth. Which, of course, prompts Sarah to kick him out. Again.
Look, we don’t condone what Xander did and think he definitely needed the therapy he’s undergoing. But this is one cycle we’re getting tired of. Xander is genuinely trying to be better, so we think for his sake, he needs to give up on Sarah. Sure, she’s pushed him to be better. But we honestly think that at this point, he needs someone who understands and accepts all of him. And Sarah clearly needs to be with someone she isn’t constantly suspicious of.

Elsewhere, Jeremy has no idea what’s coming. We all know EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is the one who sold Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) out to get Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) off his back. But given her past with him, Stephanie is convinced Jeremy is the leak. So, when she and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) come across him, things will get tense fast. Alex will obviously be angry on Stephanie’s behalf and Jeremy will get accused of spilling Stephanie’s secret. But Stephanie will attempt to keep things from getting too crazy, telling Alex that Jeremy isn’t worth it. We kind of feel bad for Jeremy here. He’ll obviously deny the accusation, as he’s innocent, and not be believed.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24: Under pressure
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal another non-surprise. As we mentioned in the October 20 spoilers, Steve Johnson (Steven Nichols) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will likely find Sophia after tracking her phone to the Brady Pub. This is where things will get ugly. Basically everyone who’s been searching for Sophia will be there, demanding answers. The pressure will be so great, Sophia passes out and ends up having a mental break. We were waiting for that.
She’s a love-struck teenager who was used twice by the object of her affection. She gave birth alone and was so afraid of what her mother and Tate Black (Leo Howard) might insist on, was forced to leave the baby at the firehouse. Then she finds out the very man who essentially put her in that tight spot is not only her new teacher, but might actually get her baby after all. It’s no wonder she finally cracked under all the pressure.
