    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, September 5 reveal Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) are back. Elsewhere, Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) does it again. Plus, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is stressed. Here’s what you need to know.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, September 5: They’re back!

    First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Jack and Jennifer return just in time for JJ Deveraux’s (Cassey Moss) birthday celebration. We’re not really looking forward to this one, as we’re sure there will be more of the same with them. We get losing a child is horrific, but it seems like they only bring them around to mourn their daughter some more. Or for Jennifer in particular to judge certain people. One that Chad is now involved with, or starting to be. We’re sure she’ll love it.

    Apparently, there is another common thing about to happen with their return. There will be more drama between Jack and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Of course, this might actually have a little bit of a twist to it, if the weekly promo is to be believed. We’d like to see some resolution and reconciliation here. At least that would be different. Plus, as awful as some of what Gwen’s done is, she does have a heart and needs people in her corner. And, hey, she’s still covering up Jennifer’s crime that nearly killed her. Sure, she used it as blackmail material before, but she’s still keeping the secret. And she mostly did it for Jack.

    In other news, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) has Chad feeling worried. We assume this is once more related to her working for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). He wasn’t thrilled about the idea. But it’s also possible that her investigating EJ will cause discomfort that Chad will notice. Which actually won’t be conducive to their long-term chances. This is another big secret she’s keeping from him. And she did pump him for information about his father while they were trapped in that elevator.

    Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, September 5: More problems

    Finally, Sophia messes up again as Tate Black (Leo Howard) catches her lying. We assume this will be related to how/where she got that picture of the baby and the adoptive parents. And this conversation will come when he’s collecting the fake adoption papers. Which will give Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) more opportunity to blow this whole thing up.
