First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Sophia comforts a distraught Tate. We guess he’s gotten the letter from the alleged adoptive parents and is heartbroken they’re saying no to his request to meet the baby. Rachel will obviously assure him that these people are kind and well-off, capable of giving their child a good life. And she’ll likely remind him that they’ll at least get updates about the baby.
Actually, we also can see her saying this might be for the best. She’ll likely go on about how hard it’s been to give up the baby after seeing it. Of course, this is one thing she won’t be lying about. And we’re pretty sure she’ll have some hope that this will bond her and Tate some more.

Elsewhere, Leo gets friendly with his new roomie. We learned recently that Leo would be sequestered, so he obviously will be bored out of his mind not being able to come home to little Tesoro and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon). Or go do anything else. We see this as possibly just being a fun moment where he may or may not drive this person insane. However, we can’t help but worry the writers might also consider setting up a situation where Leo could possibly be tempted. We really hope now.

In other Days of Our Lives spoilers, Belle Black (Martha Madison) listens as Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) tells her what has her worried. Obviously, Paulina will continue to stress about what EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) might pull on the stand. We’re sure she’ll want Belle to do everything she can to make sure Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) doesn’t end up on the suspect list next.
Honestly, should they even be having this conversation? After all, Paulina is a witness in the trial, and the mother of another witness. And she’s the mayor who ordered Johnny’s arrest to start with. It feels like such a conflict for them to even discuss the case like this. If anything, since Belle was ordered to stay on by the judge, someone else should be handling communication between her and Paulina.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, August 15: Too far
Finally, Johnny wants EJ to go easy on Chanel. Since the weekly showed EJ being fired, we all know how this turns out! We’re guessing he pulls zero punches to make sure that there is enough reasonable doubt that Chanel could have done it. Especially since he’s got video and a recovered memory that can back that idea up.
