EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has another hypnosis session with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to try to remember the events that took place the night he was shot.
Will he finally remember the true culprit and free his son? We suspect Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) is the one who pulled the trigger, which could be the terrible truth.
It puts Marlena in a sticky situation. Belle Black (Martha Madison) realizes that her mom knows who shot EJ.
Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) come together out of concern for their daughter.
Later, when Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) takes the stand, EJ tries to make her look like the guilty party. EJ’s aggressive probing prompts Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to fire his father.
Disgusted with his dear old dad and how he’s handling this case, will this cause another rift between EJ and Johnny?
As if this kangaroo court case couldn’t get any weirder, EJ subpoenas his own therapist to testify. Did EJ set her up to reveal the perpetrator if he suspects his own niece?
Tate Black (Leo Howard) writes a letter to his baby’s parents. Will Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) pretend to be the adoptive parents and write back only to deny him a visit?
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord) may get closer after their sexy kiss on the sofa.
It appears as though Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) has an admirer. Someone on the jury is a fan of Body & Soul. Will this person be interested in more than just an autograph?

The trial continues as it’s Marlena’s turn to take the stand. We don’t know how she plans to protect Rachel and Johnny both.
Meanwhile, we have to wonder who Johnny chooses as his next lawyer if his father is really off the case.
It’s hard to imagine him sticking with EJ after his treatment of his wife Chanel on the stand, and before that, his aunt Belle.
Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) works her seductive magic on Phillip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and manages to lure him into bed.
Her agenda, of course, is to use seduction as a weapon and learn Titan’s secrets since Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) promised her the CEO position at DiMera.
It’s a shame since Gabi had some promising chemistry with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). However, their so-called date ended with him tossing a punch at Brady after Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) kissed him.
Arianna Horton (Marrisa Reyes) offers words of wisdom to Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), who remains desperate to win Tate over.
Meanwhile, Belle offers Tate and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) relationship advice. Unbeknownst to the young lovers, Sophia still has her sights set on Tate.
