‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ spoilers find this is NOT a drill, folks. E.J. DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is coming back to Salem and will be seen on screens on Wednesday, June 9!!!!
Looks like wife, Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will have some ‘splaining to do!
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: We Have a Date for E.J. DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) Return to Salem!
It was an imminent arrival after Sami called her recovered husband in Italy to ask he transfer her a cool $10 mill, no explanation given. Of course we know it was to pay off Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) in exchange for Sami and Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) lives.
We also know Sami stepped out on E.J. with Lucas…and we, and new E.J. portrayer, Dan Feuerriegel can’t wait for Elvis Jnr. to find out.
Speaking with Deadline, Australian actor Feuerriegel said, “I’m so excited to bring E.J. back to Days of Our Lives and to see what flavor I can bring to Salem.”
There are some large shoes for Feuerriegel to step into, with some kind of magic created between Sweeney and the previous E.J. portrayer, James Scott. Executve producer, Ken Corday is convinced they have found the right replacement, saying “E.J. has always been an important character to the Salem landscape and we’re thrilled to have found Dan to bring him back to the canvas.”
A new face to American soap fans, Feuerriegel is no stranger to drama, having appeared on Australian prime time soaps like Home and Away, All Saints and McLeod’s Daughters. And there will be a lot of drama for Feuerriegel to sink his teeth into when E.J. makes his grand Salem return.
His brother Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) wife, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller)—with whom E.J. had an affair, has left Chad to regroup after all the Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) drama. In real life Marci was headed off screen to have her baby.
E.J.’s sister, Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) reign of terror is almost over for the citizens of Salem- except for Chole Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), whose whereabouts Kristen is using as a bargaining chip (and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Is she still in a box? Good lord, (head writer) Ron Carlivati…give us some news there!).
Will E.J. be able to help his siblings get it together or will he be too concerned with philandering wife…and trying to recoup his $10 mill from Xander?
