‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that it has been an avalanche of nostalgia for DOOL fans already this week. Today viewers watched sisters-in-law Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) duke it out like old times and admitting to deplorable behavior, yet unable to judge each other in their private glasshouses.
But it was seeing their favorite couple of Sami and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), or Lumi, fall back into bed with each other that had lifelong fans feeling like they were caught in a (fun-tastic) time warp.

However, if the pair’s brief (at least for now) dalliance wasn’t enough for you, Alison dropped a photo on her Instagram that has had fans, and fellow costars freaking out.
Photos of Alison and Bryan, standing in the same pose but taken almost 3 decades apart were placed side by side and racked up more than 30 000 likes in less than a day.
Alison captioned the post with an ode to her co-star of old and current, Bryan, saying: “I have always had such fun working with @bryan.dattilo !! 28 years later, some things never change. Still laughing between takes and grateful to have such a talented, supportive costar. Thanks @nbc for this great archive photo! And so grateful to @nbcdays for the incredible opportunity to play Sami.”
Several of the duo’s co-stars left comments like Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady) who wrote: “Haven’t changed a bit!” and Kate Mansi (ex Abigail Devereaux) who gave the picture 5 heart-eyed emojis.
We only hope this nostalgic post doesn’t mean that Alison is wrapping up her current tenure as Sami anytime soon, especially as spoilers have promised that EJ DiMera (recast to Dan Feuerriegel) will make a return to Salem in the coming months.
