‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that fans were warned to “buckle up” when Sami returned to Salem last week. So far, though, Sami’s return has been kind of yawn-provoking…and very un-Sami like.

Sure, our girl didn’t let us down by being arrested within minutes of returning to our screens– for murder, no less. But where was the patented Sami outrage that Commissioner Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) dare do his job and arrest her?

Why didn’t Sami swear black and blue that Rafe was mistaken, that he knew her better than that, that she, Sami Brady is above the law?

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The Softer Side of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is Super Suspicious.

Even Rafe, who can’t recognize that he’s falling for Nicole, noticed Sami’s odd behavior, wondering why she wasn’t screaming at him for ‘railroading’ her.

So, who is this new Zen Sami…and what is she hiding?

We put our ‘DOOL’ detectives hats on to figure exactly that out, and, unsurprisingly, the first scenario to come to mind is that Sami is covering for someone–maybe a petit blonde with a brand new baby?

Sami’s daughter, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) is just one of the suspects in Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder, albeit the one with the biggest motive.

Sure, it could have been any number of people who shot  Charlie, but we don’t see Sami throwing herself on the sword for anyone who isn’t blood related to her, and even then…

However, Sami covering for Allie is also kind of…yawn-y. Another, more interesting twist might be if this Sami isn’t acting like Sami…because she’s not Sami.

Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) mask was more convincing than any Halloween costume I’ve ever seen. Who wouldn’t want to run around Salem dressed like Sami, getting her mixed up in all sorts of hi-jinx?

Sami sure has her fair share of enemies, so did Charlie. Now we just to cross reference who hates them both enough to bump off Charlie and frame Sami.

Or Sami is just Sami and shedunnit. Yawn.

What do you think Sami is up to with her new Zen ‘tude and which of these scenarios (or a different one) do you believe to be most accurate?
