‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers show that Nick Benedict, a renowned actor famous for his appearances in daytime dramas, including his role as Curtis Reed on Days of our Lives, has passed away at the age of 77.
Interestingly, his departure occurred on his birthday, although there are conflicting reports regarding whether he was 76 or 77 years old at the time of his passing. The unfortunate news of his death was announced on Jake’s Steakhouse Facebook page, where his wife, Ginger, was employed.
Before Nick Benedict’s passing, a GoFundMe campaign was established to support his wife, Ginger. It was revealed that he underwent spinal cord surgery on July 2, which led to him being paralyzed from the neck down, eventually requiring hospice care. Surrounded by his loved ones, including Ginger, he passed away peacefully.

In his illustrious acting career, Nick Benedict moved to the West Coast and took on the role of Michael Scott on The Young and the Restless. As Michael, he became involved in a complex love affair with Julia Newman (Meg Bennett), who happened to be the wife of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
When Victor discovered their affair, he imprisoned Michael in his basement, subjecting him to harsh treatment.
