Coronation Street spoilers finds that it has been an eventful couple of weeks for Ken Barlow, and that only looks set to continue according to the recent spoilers that have been linked online. Ken has only recently moved to the Still Water retirement home, where he was reunited with fellow Corrie legend Norris Cole.

He and Claudia moved into their new home last week, which marked the first time in decades that the legend hasn’t lived at number one. It will take some getting used to for fans, as they aren’t used to seeing Ken away from Weatherfield, but could a heartbreaking loss be about to take him back to the cobbles?

Coronation Street Spoilers: Devastating Death Rocks Ken

There is one character that Ken is closer to than anyone else, and his death will shake viewers to their core. However, it isn’t a death that is likely to affect anyone else nearly as much. Ken was emotional when moving out as he was unable to take his dog Eccles with him, and viewers could see the legend stunned when his dog passes away. Fans watched on last week as Ken sat in his chair cradling the dog one final time before handing him over to Tracy Barlow, who moved into number one. There was a humorous moment later in the episode when Ken had fallen asleep, and Tracy was convinced that he had died.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Eccles’ Death Stuns Ken

Ken handed the responsibility of looking after Eccles to Tracy and her daughter Amy when he left. They promised to look after the canine, but neither are the most reliable of people to look after an animal. It will be heartbreaking to see Eccles lose his life, as he has been there for Ken throughout his toughest times. He has become a Corrie legend in his own right, as he has shared the screen with almost all of the characters to pass through Weatherfield down the years. He was most notably there for Ken when he lost Deidre a few years ago. There could be emotional scenes on the horizon.
