Coronation Street viewers were delighted on Monday evening to see the long-awaited return to the soap of Norris Cole. The Corrie legend was reunited with Ken Barlow in the Still Waters retirement home, where Ken and Claudia have recently moved into.


Ken was reading an extract from one of his short stories that was published in the local newspaper before he was then questioned regarding the story. Norris was the second person in attendance to ask a question, and he queried whether Ken had ever had a book published. However, the former Weatherfield resident was clearly delighted to see a familiar face in the retirement home.

Viewers have already queried regarding how safe the retirement home is. They were quick to pick up on an earlier scene, where one of the members of staff talked about a game of Yahtzee taking an unexpected turn. She admitted to Ken and Claudia that the players from that game are all now in hospital.


Fans were then adamant that something strange was happening when Norris and Ken caught up at the bar later in the episode. Norris admitted to Ken that he wanted to escape because all isn’t well within the home. Norris even went as far as to admit that the retirement home felt like a ‘cult’


Coronation Street Spoilers: Could Ken & Norris Be In Danger?


It could be a case of fans adding up and getting the wrong sum, but there is clearly something going on at the retirement home. Norris is renowned for being a gossiper, but if he thinks that something is happening which is strange, Ken will be inclined to believe his old friend.


Viewers immediately became concerned about Ken and Norris, and hoped that they would be able to get out of the retirement home. The bosses at the soap have already revealed that Ken will be returning to Weatherfield before the end of 2020, but will Norris be back on the cobbles with him?
