Coronation Street spoilers finds that fans were in disbelief during last night’s episode of the soap, as it was teased that Geoff Metcalfe has managed to get rid of Elaine Jones for good. Viewers of the soap will be aware that it was revealed that Elaine was the ex-wife of Geoff, and was preparing to stand up against him in court.
The evidence that she would have given would have been enough to save Yasmeen Nazir, and tarnished any remaining reputation Geoff has on the cobbles. Elaine was determined to stand up to Geoff during last night’s episode, and even set her sights on talking to her son, Tim Metcalfe.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Residents Worry About What Geoff Has Done
Sally Metcalfe met Elaine for the first time during last night’s episode, as she revealed that she was also against Geoff and pleaded with Elaine to remain strong. The pep talk seemed to have worked, as Elaine told Sally on the phone that she was on her way to talk to Tim again. However, Sally later revealed that Elaine never made it to Tim.
That bombshell was dropped in the Rovers, as Ryan and Alya were also concerned that they couldn’t get hold of Elaine. Jenny Connor was the one to really put the characters on edge, as she revealed that she saw Elaine talking to Geoff around the back of the pub.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Has Geoff Killed Elaine?
Geoff finally caught up to Elaine during last night’s episode and he warned her against going to the police and standing up against him. There could yet be another twist as Faye saw her grandfather talking to the woman angrily, and will likely question him about this over coming scenes.
Viewers had thought they had saw the last of Elaine then, as Geoff returned back to his house with Elaine mobile phone. Fans are undecided how he managed to take it off her, but the closing scenes saw him take the SIM card out of the phone and throw it down a drain so that it couldn’t be found.
There was a sinister smile on the face of Geoff when he did it, which could indicate that he has taken a serious action to get rid of Elaine for good. But, could there still be another twist in the story?
