She really wants to do better, you guys. After having one of the crappiest years in recent history, Chrissy Teigen is celebrating the most important person in the planet to her – and that’s herself – as she announced that she’s 50 days sober. Here’s what you need to know.
Sharing a short clip of her goofing around with her two children, Luna and Miles, at home, the former model captioned it with, “Today is my 50 day sobriety streak! it should be nearly a year but I had a few (wine) hiccups in the road. this is my longest streak yet! I still dunno if I’ll never drink again but I do know it no longer serves me in ANY way. I don’t get more fun, I don’t dance, I don’t get relaxed. I get sick, fall asleep and wake up sick, having missed what was probably a fun night. I had my fun with it and appreciate anyone that can enjoy it responsibly!!!! this is also my third day this week working out which is unheard of for me, and my bears are notttt making it easy but loving @movewithnicole on YouTube!!”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for her fans and her followers to comment on the matter with, “So proud of you! Honestly I don’t really drink much anymore. It doesn’t make me feel as focused, and love the way I feel sober. Proud of you girl,” along with, “A day at a time I’ve managed to not drink for nine years. Best decision I’ve ever made. You can do it.”
Another fan wrote, “Today is my husband’s 14th sobriety birthday (I’ll have 14 years in February). It sucks at first, then it gets worse, then it gets WAYYYY better. Keep going!”
Chrissy’s downfall began when she told Courtney Stodden told her to kill herself in a series of DM’s on Twitter back in 2011. While Chrissy did offer a public apology on Twitter, she still has Courtney blocked. If that weren’t enough, she also sent hate messages to Farrah Abraham and suggested Lindsay Lohan should slit her wrists. She also fat shamed Mariah Carey while she was pregnant. Fashion designer Michael Costello also said that Chrissy bullied him to the point where he wanted to kill himself.
