Cancellation? What cancellation? Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend, along with a host of celebrities, were spotted arriving at Martha’s Vineyard for former President Barack Obama’s epic 60th birthday bash this weekend.
Despite being shunned by many celebrities and losing out on a number of endorsement deals because of her bullying scandal, the former model still managed to snag an invite to one of the biggest parties of the summer, along with Jay-Z and Beyonce, Dwayne Wade, and so many more. Here’s what you need to know.
Chrissy Teigen, John Legend Spotted At Obama’s Epic 60th Birthday Bash
According to the New York Daily News, the Obamas scaled back their party because of Covid-19 concerns, but that didn’t stop some of their closest friends from coming. The guest list included A-listers such as George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Stephen Spielberg and Bruce Springsteen along with Oprah Winfrey and Ava DuVernay. Notably absent were royal Californians, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Delta variant, responsible for a massive spike in cases nationwide, prompted the Obamas to scale back their initial 475-person guest list.
According to Page Six, one performer at the party managed to take some photos and upload them on social media before he was forced to delete them.
Rapper Trap Beckham and manager TJ Chapman discreetly snapped pics of the food and drinks along with a few of Obama himself taking to the dancefloor. The photos also prove that the party was pretty much a maskless affair, as it doesn’t appear as though anyone had their masks on.
So far the Obamas have made no comments about their party.
