CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that people may find out about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summer’s (Michelle Stafford) recent hookups. They couldn’t keep their act together around their daughter and it’s completely blown their cover. Summer Newman (Hunter King) knew right away there was something going on, but by the end of the conversation, she knew exactly what they had been doing. Hilariously, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) kind of just sat in shock.
Summer Newman thought it’d be nice to have coffee with her parents and Kyle, little did she know they’d be in for an awkward conversation about on-again, off-again relationships and trying to make things work. Her parents were speaking to her, but not about her, and it was actually a pretty funny scene. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Summer Knows Her Parents Are Doing It! – Will The Secret Last Long?
In the beginning, Nick and Phyllis are afraid they’re going to make an announcement like they’re already getting married. Nick immediately eyes Kyle and tells him a year ago he marrying his daughter. This causes Kyle to be speechless. Summer tells them they’re for sure this time, they’ve never been so sure. It feels right and even if it is the second or third or whatever time, it doesn’t matter. As she talks, Phyllis and Nick look at each other and Phyllis nods along.
Phyllis seems to want to be in a relationship with Nick again while he tries to deflect in front of his daughter. It’s a funny scene, even with Phyllis, and they get up to go talk in the other room. Summer knows right there that her parents have been spending time together again. Kyle is as shocked as she is. The whole conversation is one huge comparison between the two sets of “couples” and everything Summer and Kyle are going through, Nick and Phyllis have been experiencing lately as well.
