CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) couldn’t be happier of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). We all know about Victoria Newman’s condition after being attacked, and they need an interim CEO. Before Nick decided to jump in and take the job, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was primed to take the role. However, in the end, Nick ended up in the position. He is also quick to tell everyone he is the interim CEO and Victoria will be back in his seat soon enough. Victor, however, may think that Nick will stay in the end.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has had some bouts with aggression and confusion these last few weeks, which is understandable. However, she also went off on Nick about the importance of the job and how it can consume his life. She catches herself at the end, but Nick is already worried. It seems like Victoria regrets taking the position and is stressing over it way too much. It engulfed her life, and she may not want to reclaim her spot.

While Nick also wants to work on his non-profit organization New Hope, Victor is worried he may be spreading himself too thin and won’t be able to concentrate. Nick assures him he can do both, and on good days do three things at once. Nick isn’t willing to lose his focus on New Hope, while Victor is nervous about his concentration on Newman Enterprises.

However, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has shown he’s more than prepared. Is Victor trying to prime him to stay on as CEO? Nick has been crushing it when he’s not skipping work with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Has Victoria said anything to her father about her not wanting to return? What do you think? Will Nick end up staying CEO for longer? Let us know in the comments below.
