CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers shows Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). It’s hard to imagine there ever being a time in Genoa City where Nick wasn’t in the arms of either Phyllis or Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). It’s a tried-and-true story of love and infidelity for the love-triangle trio.
The red-hot romance with the red-hot redhead began when Nick cheated on wife, Sharon, after their daughter Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) died. Since then, Nick has been back and forth between the two marriages. However, this March, we are seeing Nick hit it off with the feistier of his lovers, Phyllis. The two agreed to not let the past repeat itself, however, their inability to stay away from each other suggests otherwise.

After falling into bed during the Genoa City ice storm (Oh, the irony. Their daughter, Summer Newman (Hunter King), was born during an ice storm), the two agreed to keep their distance and remain friends. After all, their romance seems to always get heated quickly with both passion and anger. After Nick agreed to fill in for his sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), as CEO at Newman Enterprises, Phyllis went to visit and give her congratulations. After all, it was largely Phyllis’ advice that convinced Nick to accept the position.
Phyllis expressed that she was proud of Nick, and it doesn’t help that he looks good at a CEO’s desk. Phyllis was quick to blame their ice storm romance on the weather conditions. She makes a joke that at least they got that out of the system – now they can be done for good. However, Y&R fans have heard that before – about a trillion times. Despite Nick agreeing to everything Phyllis said, he quickly locks his office door.
It looks like Nick is already making himself at home at Newman Enterprises as he has sex with his ex-wife in his temporary office. A very happy welcome to the office, we can assume.
