CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that we were all a bit worried to jump back into an all-new episode after so long! It was assumed that we would get a recap or “previously on”, however, they found a creative way to not only do the recap but also deal with the six feet apart safety precaution for COVID-19.
The episode started out with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) interviewing everyone around Genoa City about the memory of Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper), however, each story tied into their own storylines and gave us a reminder of what we saw before the pandemic started.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Return Episode Finds A Neat Way To Recap And Bring Us Up To Speed
Early in the episode, the legendary Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) warns Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) not to trifle with their family. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) believes he’s using Chancellor Communications as a tool to dig into the Newman family.
The best scene comes when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) arrives at the memorial for Katherine Chancellor, and Billy confronts him about what’s going on between his dad and him. Victor blew up on Billy for Nikki and suspecting he’s up to something more sinister. However, it appears Billy was trying to dig for what happened to Adam’s short-lived run as CEO as Newman Enterprises.
This was a great intro to recap us and worked around several different issues, like being six-feet apart and coming back after several months of being gone.
