There’s some unrest in Genoa City, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are expecting some interesting storylines to come out of these.
Of course, things are rarely what they seem when it comes to Genoa City, so we’ll have to wait and see how things play out.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 3: Taking a risk
Under most circumstances, we’d go with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) taking a chance that could mess up a lot of things just to try to prove Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is who she thinks she is.
But we have a feeling this will be different. ‘Young and the Restless’ think she’s going to take a chance and lease out part of the Grand Phoenix to Noah Newman (Rory Gibson).
It may be a stretch in some ways, but we think Phyllis will see the potential in the idea and it’ll bring more people to her hotel so she’ll roll the dice and give Noah a chance.
There’s also the possibility she’ll do so to look good to Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) and help form an inroad with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
After all, Phyllis always has an alternate reason when she does something.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 3: Sally digs into Nick
With the biggest story in Genoa City in her lap, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will want to get a scoop and control the narrative to a degree when it comes to Ashland Locke (Robert Newman)’s death.
To do that, she’ll interview the one that’s proven open to her being there and is at the heart of the situation.
How well Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) takes it is another story, as she’ll really dig in to find out everything she can to make it as factual as possible so nothing’s being hidden from their readers.
Of course, this will come back to bite her and the Newmans at some point, but we think she means well and will be honest. But honesty is the last thing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants to hear about right now.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 3: Keeping the peace
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is going to find herself in a tough position as she’s going to attempt to diffuse the situation between Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
It’s not going to be easy as Devon’s been on edge since the merger, and anything that goes wrong immediately sets him off.
Nate’s trying to do his best, but when there’s a breakdown in communication it’s got to be solely his fault and no one else’s.
Everyone makes mistakes, but Devon acting like Nate’s incompetent and Nate taking understandable offense to that has led to some bruised egos, and with everything she’s dealing with Amanda doesn’t need this.
