CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for some more fun as an ongoing investigation digs up a uncomfortable bit of evidence and more controlling tactics are rolled out by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
The more things change, the more they stay the same in Genoa City, and it’s going to make for a few interesting moments in this episode.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 2: Victor’s strongarm tactics continue
Victor’s not happy that one of his children have grown tired of being a pawn and broke away, so he’s going to do what he always does. He’s going to warn Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) what it means to sever ties with the family.
We expect Victor to bring up Adam’s previous offer to give up the Newman name as proof Adam’s really intent on leaving the family to call his bluff.
He’ll also remind Adam how hard he’s worked to integrate him in as the family chew toy, er, member and hoe he’ll be throwing it all away.
Adam my point out Victor’s the one that keeps playing games with their lives and it’s impossible to prove his worth to him unless he does everything Victor wants him to without question.
Basically, it’s the standard repeat. Wash, rinse, repeat.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 2: Not looking good
‘Young and the Restless’ have to give Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) credit. We thought he was going to let Victor push him around, but it looks like he’s going to do the opposite.
In fact, with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) helping him, they’re going to discover something that may not be pleasant for Victor or those involved.
We’re curious what they found, but if Kevin’s involved we think it’ll have to do with the security footage at Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s house or elsewhere on the property.
It’ll probably show Victor’s men, under his guidance, removing Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), either dead or semi-conscious, to enable the story he left and died in a car accident.
Victor’s been way too overbearing and a nasty human being lately for nothing to come of it, though we suspect he’ll find a way to avoid and legal trouble and be lauded as a hero by his family as usual.
But then we could be wrong and the evidence could involve someone else besides Victor. Could Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) have a hand in what happened?
