CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) heard the news about his ex, Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) bad results. He got a call from Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and you could tell he wanted to let it out right there and then, but he was with his daughter, Summer Newman (Hunter King) who didn’t know yet. They sat down together and Nick told Summer that Sharon has cancer. Summer is shocked and wants to know how she can help.
As they’re discussing it, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) walks in and Summer changes the subject and acts like they’re planning dinner. Nick tells Summer that Phyllis knows. Summer is a little taken back that she knows as well. Summer just wants to know what she can do to help. Phyllis jumps in and tells her to stay close to Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Be a big sister to her and make sure she’s okay.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Hears About Sharon’s Results – Tells Summer To Help Faith
Phyllis asks Nick about Sharon’s scan and Nick tells them it wasn’t what she was expecting. The next step is surgery. Even Phyllis is stunned by the news. After their conversation, Summer heads over to see Sharon. She walks into everyone, Sharon, Faith, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) sitting around talking. Sharon gets up to hug Summer and Summer tells her she wants to help any way she can. Sharon asks her to just hang out.
I don’t think we saw Nick’s true reactions, he seems to be putting on an act in front of everyone. Nick still has strong feelings for Sharon. They share a child together and this would be the most devastating news to hear. What do you think? Is this Nick’s real reaction or will we see something much larger?
