CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has seen plenty of beautiful women come and go in his life, there might only be one woman who is his one true love. Of course, we are talking about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). In fact, actor Peter Bergman, who plays Jack Abbott on the hit CBS soap, believes the same. Here’s what he has to say.
While Jack is certainly the kind of guy who can get anyone thanks to his good looks, his fortune, and his successful career (not to mention also his quick wit and his charm), it’s Phyllis Summers who has managed to surprise him in more ways than one. That’s because she’s always been a little different compared to the girls that he used to date.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jack’s One True Love Might Just Be Phyllis Summers
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, Peter puts it this way, “She was not like any of the girls that he grew up with in the country club. Jack loved that this woman spoke her min, she did not hold back. This woman was fierce and loyal and crazy, and Jack thought that was the coolest thing in the world. She wasn’t trying to be proper or mince words. She was unapologetically who she was – and Jack thought that was intoxicating.”
So, does that mean there’s a chance that Jack and Phyllis might reunite in the near future? Peter Bergman is sure hoping so! In fact, the two of them would make for great soap drama again. The actor added, “Oh, yeah! She’s the one that he will spend his life trying to get over.”
