CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that it might have been a while since we’ve seen new YR episodes due to COVID-19, but it looks like Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby Newman, hasn’t been snoozing during the global pandemic. In fact, she’s about to appear in a Lifetime thriller! So, for YR lovers that can’t seem to get enough of Abby, they don’t have to! Tune into this new flick debuting on July 25.
Ordway took to her Instagram to announce the big news, “Tune in alert!!! I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of this film and it is airing on Lifetime this Saturday at 8pm!!! My character in Stalked by My Husband’s Ex may or may not be having a difficult night in this pic… @lifetimetv”

Other actors set to appear in the show include Adam Huss, Alex McKenna, and Juliana Dever. Lifetime has released a brief description of their newest thriller, “After accepting his proposal, hospitality queen Kristen Carter (McKenna) couldn’t be more excited to marry Ryan Munson (Huss) and to become a mother to his 10-year-old daughter, Lisa (Joey Rae Blair). But, when strange and deadly things start to happen around her, Kristen starts to worry whether she’ll ever see her wedding day at all.”
Thankfully, YR is back to scheduled filming, so it looks like we’ll get an update in Genoa City here shortly (as long as everyone remains healthy and protocol is followed), however, it’s good news that we are able to stay up to date with our favorite stars in the meantime.
