CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that star Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) has been keeping rather busy with her two daughters Olivia and Sophie while they have been sheltering in place during the quarantine. As a matter of fact, she says that one of her girls has shown a keen interest in acting and doing stage makeup but unfortunately found out the hard way that it isn’t always easy being ‘green.’ Here’s what she has to say!
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the blonde beauty told the publication, “I’ve dyed my hair pink and we have been making lots of tie-dye shirts. I also play every character from Frozen, Tangled, and the Little Mermaid. I also play the male characters, as well, so during the quarantine, I’m really building my repertoire of Disney characters. That’s pretty much it.” However, Melissa admits that her older children have decided to get in on the act, too. Could this mean that she might have a little actress in the making here? Maybe!

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Star Melissa Ordway Says It’s Not Always Easy Being Green
She added, “Olivia had just watched Shrek, so she came out of her room and asked, ‘Do you have any green makeup?’ I was like, ‘No, honey, I don’t have green makeup.’ Apparently ,she wanted to be just like Princess Fiona and I tried to reason with her by saying, ‘Why don’t we just pretend that your face is green?’ Well, that didn’t work. When I wasn’t looking, she went into my makeup drawer and found green eye shadow and painted her face green to be like Princess Fiona. Instead, she looked like she was seasick.”
