CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is always extra sassy for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). I get it, Adam’s quite a jerk usually. Plus, he tried to murder his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)! So, I understand why she would be a little salty around him, however, even Victor has forgiven Adam. Considering the circumstances. Plus, Adam is and will always be Victor’s son. Nikki should accept that right? However, she always seems to want to shut him up and push him out right away.

I can understand the stress and anger she has for him, but when he arrived back from Kansas, he walked and was acting decent. He apologized for his outburst at Victor and explain how he was upset. Now though, he’s wished, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) good luck and wanted to ask Victor if he could do something about Hope’s farm. Before he could even get worlds out though, Nikki was all over him.

I don’t know how to feel about it. I like Nikki, but I also think she needs to cut Adam some slack. How do you want him to change and come to be with his family if you won’t even give him a chance from the moment he walks in the door. I get it, he’s burned a lot of bridges, but can he really not even get a word?

I don’t want to sound like I’m defending Adam either. Dude is a mess of emotion and rage. I hope they can find a way to tone him down soon because I liked Adam in Kansas. He seemed like a normal person. Maybe the writers can find a way to bring it back with him, though now it looks like he’s planning something. He’s got his chips in his hand, getting ready to lay them. Could this Alissa.J. Montalvo thing really stick? What do you think? Is Nikki justified in her behavior towards Adam? Let us know in the comments below.
