CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) are going through something similar and they don’t even realize it! Billy has been trying to speak with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and finally gets the opportunity. However, she’s in so much pain and there’s nothing he can do for her. He feels partly responsible but wishes like hell he could help her.
Rey, of course, has Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) dealing with breast cancer. At every turn though, she’s pushing him away and not letting him help her. Rey feels like there’s absolutely nothing he can do to help her and that he’s helpless. These two have more in common than they realize while they share a drink together at the hotel.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Billy & Rey Are Going Through Something Similar – Two Characters Have More In Common Than They Think
Billy and Rey aren’t two characters you think of interacting much. Seeing them together on-screen catches you off guard but it turns out they might be able to play off eachother pretty well! I’ve liked Rey and Billy, unpopular opinion I know. Billy though is an interesting character, even if he is a slow learner. I think they need to give Rey more to do as well, he can handle it and could make for some interesting stories.
This moment of them at the hotel sharing a drink though was pretty special. Two men, from two different walks of life who don’t have much in common, don’t realize that they’re both in the same situation. As Billy was speaking, I was like, oh yeah, that must be how Rey feels. Hopefully, Sharon will accept Rey more after her chat with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Billy, on the other hand, might be doomed.
