CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers we’re halfway through our Daytime Emmy week, and CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers has the next throwback spoiler ready to go. We’ve had a lot of fun watching these classic episodes spearheaded by eventual Daytime Emmy winners.
This episode, originally aired on May 13, 2002, was the vehicle for Susan Flannery to win her third Outstanding Lead Actress Emmy. Her performance was outstanding as she managed to lift her intensity as Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery)’s dislike for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is at a near all time high. What has Brooke done this time? Well, it’s not involving Stephanie husband, Eric Forrester (John McCook) this time.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers Throwback For June 24: Secrets shared
There are times where it’s important to keep something secret for self preservation, but when it comes to daytime television, that’s all but impossible. This doesn’t mean Brooke didn’t give it the old college try, it just so happens that Stephanie worked out the problem when she found Brooke and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in the middle of something. As it so happens, the Siren (Brooke) managed to get herself pregnant by Deacon, who just happens to be Bridget Forrester (Jennifer Finnigan)’s husband and Brooke’s son-in-law. Yep, Brooke hooked up with her daughter’s husband.

Oh, the fun to be had when the Siren’s on the prowl. Furious at Brooke’s inability to keep her hands off another woman’s husband, Stephanie burst in and ordered Deacon out of the room. CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers would like to take this moment to saw this showed Deacon had some semblance of self preservation and intelligence for leaving Brooke behind to give him a chance to escape. Stephanie had enough of her, and called her the “slut of Beverly Hills” and cracked her across the face good. She then informed her she had to marry Whipple Jones (Rick Hearst) to protect Bridget from the mistakes of her mother.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers Throwback For June 24: Perfect choice
Given how many times Brooke has infuriated Stephanie over the years, this feels like the perfect choice for Susan Flannery as she really upped her game and walked a line between actively trying to kill Brooke and taking command of the situation for the benefit of everyone involved. It’s really an awesome testament to the actress knowing she’s won several times and probably deserved a lot more. Given the power and weight of these episodes, it only serves to show that another viewing option should be available for us now that production is resuming.
It’ll be a disservice to us all if these are put back in the vault until the next dire reason to bring them out. What’s your favorite Susan Flannery performance?
