Britney Spears’ first ex husband, Jason Alexander, has now come forward and said on a podcast that he was tricked into signing the annullment for his marriage to the popstar. He says that their marriage happened at 4AM in Las Vegas, and that they were actually going to go to Ibiza for their honeymoon and wee busy packing for it, but Alexander, started to panic and thought that maybe they shouldn’t run away.
After all, Britney had told him that her Mom had said that she was coming and being the respectful, southern boy that he is, wanted to wait on her.
Britney ex says he was tricked into anulling their marriage
Since they had known each other since childhood, it’s only natural to think that their family had known each other too. One could see where Britney’s ex would want to have the utmost respect for Britney’s Mom and the rest of her family so that was probably why he wated.. only, he probably shouldn’t have, because that’s when the “Britney Corporation” swooped in and ended things for them.
He said that within hours, “men in black” swarmed him and Britney and separated them, keeping them apart for a few hours, and he said he knew when she came back in the room that they had “talked her into something”.
Britney’s team promised them that if they could continue their relationship and if they still felt the same way in six months that they would give them a “proper marriage” then, but the papers were to be signed that night. He said that he had no reason to believe otherwise.
After a some awkward moments in the hotel room afterward, he, Britney’s Mom, brother and from what he said the rest of the family went to dinner, then after dinner he was presented with flight reservations to leave. When he got to the airport he proceeded to call the number he had for Britney, only to get a disconnected signal. That’s when he knew he had been had.
Britney has not confirmed nor denied this yet, and as far as we know she has moved onto her current boyfriend, Sam Asghari and seems to be happy with him. There are a few people who think that Asghari isn’t good for Britney and that maybe she should find someone else once she’s able to, but the decision is ultimately up to Britney – will she find someone else once her conservatorship ends or will this be the guy she ends up settling down with?
Also, why didn’t her ex speak up way back when? Did Britney’s team threaten him with something more sinister than just legal action? It would be interesting to see what Britney said about all of this. Stay tuned!!!
