Sharing a photo of him by a campfire, an animated Matthew wrote, “Men are here. We make fire. Cook meat. Then put out fire by peeing, no get invited back. #Camping.”
Ha! You just gotta love his sense of humor, right? Well it looks like his social media fans sure do appreciate it, too as they commented on his pic with, “So this is where Thomas went. Just kidding, camping is awesome,” along with, “Great use of a FRIENDS quote as a caption!”

Another fan wrote, “You are certainly determined. Just watched the latest episode in Australia of B&B. Your wedding night with hope. Looks like everything is beginning to unravel. It’s safe to say that Matthew is enjoying his time off from ‘Bold and the Beautiful‘ by reconnecting with nature. And let’s face it, Matthew’s vacation time is well deserved and that’s because he’s been knocking it out of the park as Thomas Forrester. We haven’t seen a soap star turn up the ‘creep’ level as much as Thomas has on the show.
And while there are a lot of people who despise his character, others are commending him on a job well done. If you love to hate someone like Thomas Forrester, that means Matthew Atkinson is doing a hell of a job as an actor. Way to go!
