Mario Lopez will be very excited about what is next for him. He has signed on to do a reboot of Saved by the Bell! This new series will be streaming on Peacock and there will be other original cast members joining him as well. We do know that Elizabeth Berkley, who played his love interest, Jessie Spano, will be joining him on the reboot.

Saved by the Bell was a very popular show that ran from 1989 to 1992. It is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary and the producers of the reboot are extremely excited about it! For those who never watched it, it was about a group of high school teenagers. It was a comedy, but there were some deep and intense lessons on some episodes.
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Soap Stars Get Their Start
There were quite a few guest stars on Saved by the Bell too. It helped to build a lot of careers for the teens on the show and opened the doors for other soap stars such as Denise Richards who plays Shauna Fulton on the Bold and the Beautiful. We also saw Partika Darbo (Shirley Spectra, The Bold and the Beautiful), Patrick Muldoon (Austin Reed, Days of Our Lives), and Tori Spelling from Beverly Hills 90210.
There was a spin-off of Saved by the Bell that aired in 1993-1994 and only was on for one season. The producer of this series will be Tracey Wigfield, who is also on the Mindy Project and 30 Rock. Lopez is still working on Extra and the HGTV show Supersize My Pool.
