‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that there was nothing mysterious about Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) running down Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) in his daddy, Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) car while sporting a big, goofy grin on his face.
Surely the fact that the word ‘mystery’ has been thrown around for a couple of weeks means that nothing we are currently watching is as it seems and (hopefully) this won’t play out as tepidly as the baby DNA switch.
After all, there have been clues that have come straight from head writer, Bradley Bell’s mouth that we have to consider…and theorize about.
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: So Far Not Much Mystery to the Murder…Yet
The first theory is that Liam hitting Vinny with the car wasn’t the actual cause of death. We don’t imagine it helped the lab tech’s situation, but there likely was a ‘mystery’ situation prior to having Bill and Liam watch him take his dying breaths.
Like a true hero, Liam prompt feinted in shock at committing vehicular manslaughter and, even more heroically, Daddy Bill didn’t call 911 but instead stripped the man of all identification…you know, besides his face and fingerprints and dental records. But we have to ignore those in order to get to our two possible theories.
Not once did we see Bill check for a pulse as he mugged the corpse…could Vinny survive his ordeal? If so, he could be pretty angry when he returns to exact (well-deserved) revenge on the Spencers.
Buuuut….we’re going to say Vinny wasn’t big enough of a deal to get a zombie resurrection and think the storyline will go more like this.
Without traditional I.D., the dead man on the side of the road is mistaken for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). It’s not a stretch to think Vinny would have something with him that would be identified as belonging to Thomas.
Why did we jump here? Because Bell let leak that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is the one who identifies the body. Why on Earth would Hope be summoned if the body is believed to be Vinny’s?
Not convinced yet? In another clue, Bell promised this death will have lasting consequences for the Spencer, Logan and Forrester families. Sorry Vinny, but you really didn’t touch our (or their) lives that much.
But, if rumors get out that Hope has been called to the morgue to identify Thomas, and with Bill sending Liam out of town so he can’t clear up the error, there could be plenty of consequences to that!
If news of her ‘brother’s death’ gets back to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), the expectant mother could be so distraught that she loses the baby! Bell did promise lives will be changed forever by an “unexpected death.”
