‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that Tuesday’s episode left us with a ‘Friday-like’ cliffhanger as not just Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but also Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) demand answers from Vinny.
So, did Vinny switch the DNA results of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) unborn baby’s paternity test?
Spoilers have hinted at this being the case all along, but fans are beginning to wonder if the deluge of hints we are getting are all red herrings and the storyline will head elsewhere.
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Let’s break these hints down.
First there’s Vinny himself who went from local drug dealer to lab worker without his best mate ever knowing. It’s not the first nor will it be the last time viewers have to suspend disbelief so we’ll just say Vinny is really good at interviews and bam- lab tech, he is.
Vinny dropped some super heavy-handed hints at the beginning of this saga, telling Thomas he’d do anything for his bestie and subtly (as subtle as a sledgehammer, that is) pushing Thomas towards heartbroken Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Did Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) REALLY Switch the Paternity Results?
After finally cluing into what that could possibly mean, Thomas asked Vinny approximately 50 times if he switched the results (38 of those times were in Tuesday’s episode- broken record much?) So far Vinny has dodged answering that question directly- approximately 49 times (leading us to Tuesday’s cliffhanger).
On the Steffy side of things, she’s always felt in her bones that Finn was the father. You know a good way of ensuring that, Steffy? Don’t sleep with your super fertile ex. Hey, it’s just a suggestion.
Anyhoo- next we have the ultrasound tech casually dropping that the fetus looks larger than expected and Steffy deciding the kick she felt today was early for where she is in her pregnancy- even though she looks at least 7 months pregnant and if the baby weren’t kicking yet I’d be strapping myself into a fetal heart monitor poste haste.
So far EVERYTHING is pointing at the results being switched and Steffy being further along–with Finn’s baby–than she thought. So, of course, we are starting to think we are being led astray.
If that’s the case, what has Bradley Bell and his team got in store for us? Will we finally get a storyline that hasn’t been done to death? Am I giving the writers more credit than they deserve?
For all these answers and more tune in to B&B, weekdays on CBS and let us know what you think- were the results switched or not- in the comments below.
