‘Beyond the Gates’ (BTG) spoilers reveal that Entertainment Tonight will give fans a sneak peek of the new soap in a five-part special set to air from Monday, February 17 to Friday, 21, 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. on CBS, which is the week before the soap’s debut.

Kevin Frazier and Sheryl Underwood will present the special from the Talk. Ironically, BTG will take over the “The Talk’s” timeslot on CBS when it premieres on February 24.
The ET special will be filmed at the soaps studio in Atlanta. It will give viewers an inside peek at BTG’s journey and how it made it to its on-screen debut.
Fans can look forward to a thrilling behind-the-scenes glance at the new soap and watch interviews with the actors and actresses who star in the groundbreaking African American daytime drama- the first one since Generations went off the air in January 1991.
On Monday, February 17, fans will be introduced to the cast and writers behind the sudser. The next day, viewers will take a deeper dive, hear the vision of its creator, Michele Val Jean, and learn the story of what it took to bring the new soap to life.
Fans will learn about the Dupree family, the core African American family, who are the “heart of Fairmount Crest, and how each member and their roles on the show.
ET will detail how the cast was brought together to create BTG. Fans are invited to tour the soap’s hair, wardrobe, and make-up department in the following installment. They will also visit “the wig cabinet,” which contains forty custom-made pieces.

Later in the week, fans will experience a day in the life of a soap star and the insane number of pages the actors must shoot in a day. Powerhouse performances are the norm for BTG, and fans receive the inside scoops about how the steamiest and juiciest scenes are comprised.
The final installment features an exclusive look at BTG’s premiere. The show’s focus is the high-stakes drama and a cast of compelling characters.
The cast and executive team show the audience what they have in store. The ET vault will be unlocked to reveal past footage of the actors and actresses who star on BTG. The work they may have done before arriving at “Fairmount Crest” will also be shared.
Veteran soap scribe Michele Val Jean is the creator of the series and has impressive credentials. Val Jean started her career as a writer in the first African American daytime drama, Generations, in 1989.
She worked her way up the ladder and joined the writing team at General Hospital in 1993. She was the first African American head writer for a daytime soap opera.
In 2012, Val Jean wrote for The Bold and The Beautiful. She left in 2024 to create Beyond the Gates.
The soap premieres on CBS on February 24 at 2:00 p.m. The excitement is palpable as the show is gearing up for its debut.
