‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re all set to close the week out in style with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
Things are going to be tense as we head into the weekend, and the episode for Friday, July 18 will have a couple of emotional, betrayal moments.
Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) has been kept in the dark about a whole lot of things and has dealt with a constant sting of betrayals.
So, she’ll be in the right in demanding to know what’s going on with her son. Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) will be caught in how to handle it and which lies to say.
But Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) won’t have such restraints and we expect her to unload on her daughter for her attitude.
Since parents shafting their children is the name of the game for this episode, Elon Hawthrone (Malachi Malik) will do the same.
It looks like he’s going to come down on Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges)’s investigation into Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy).
To that end, he’ll also take over the investigation into Kenny (Jason Vendryes)’s death to make sure it’s handled as correctly as possible.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, July 18: Anita’s had enough
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers aren’t surprised Anita will rip into Nicole since she refused to listen to her former Articulettes friends and grow.
In her mind, she’s protecting Nicole and Martin while they’ll really continued to be treated as children.
To be fair, we think she’ll be gentle to a fault, but she’ll remain firm. She’ll claim to understand why Nicole is upset about being left out of everything.
Nicole may buy into her placating attempt, but it won’t surprise us if she fights back and demands better.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, July 18: A father’s love
Jacob has been causing some issues in the police force with his mutual investigation with Smitty Smith (Mike Manning).
It looks like that will come to an unofficial end as Elon will put him in his place. Add in lecturing Jacob about questioning his fellow officers and the betrayal will grow.
It’ll be the blue wall versus what’s right, and to drive his point home, Elon will take over the investigation over the murder.
It’s the best and easiest way for him to cover it up like he did two years earlier. He’ll hope it’ll stick this time.
We have a feeling it’ll only galvanize Jacob’s desire to find out what happened. That will lead to some fun moments.
It looks like the kids are looking to take over for their elders and expose their hypocrisy. What could go wrong?
Are Anita and Elon making huge mistakes in trying to keep things buried? Let us know in the comments below.
