‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to get our first walk through Fairmont Crest in for the week.
The episode for Monday, July 21 looks like it’s going to be a fun one and we have plenty of fun spoilery goodies to share.
After learning she was kept in the dark about her own son, Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) will go on a tear.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers Monday, July 21: Nicole Confronts Ted and Wants Out as She Takes Over as the Fixer from Bill; Anita Tries to Ease Vernon’s Guilt
She’ll take back her power and family by taking over Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett)’s role as the Fixer and want to finalize a divorce with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson).
On the flip side, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will struggle with the aftermath of their decisions and try to soothe Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davies)’s guilt.
There’s plenty of guilt to go around. Bill’s called him out and Nicole called out Anita for the same thing.
Never mind, two years ago the media would’ve made Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) a hero, or at least protected him as he did react in self defense with momentary insanity.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Monday, July 21: Nicole tears it up
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers are loving the quick turn Nicole did by telling off Anita much the same as Bill did Vernon.
They’ve been good at projecting their experiences and beliefs, thinking it’s for other’s good when it’s really theirs and their family.
And now Nicole is taking back her family.
She’ll make sure to inform Bill that she’s taking over as ‘The Fixer’ for heer family. But she won’t stop there.
She’s going to confront Ted, and since it’s yet another lie and secret, we think she’s going to want to divorce him.
We doubt Ted will be surprised or even fight it at this point.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Monday, July 21: Anita tries to work her magic
Everything they’ve built is shaken to the foundation due to one event two nights ago, and Vernon will keep beating himself up over it.
We don’t blame him as it’s how things had to be when he was pushing civil rights. Still is in some places. But now thanks to hindsight, he sees every mistake like any of us would.
He’s run his family like a mafia family and Bill cleaned up their messes. Bill allowed them to have a pristine reputation while he became the dirty one and Vernon see that now.
This is a great character growth moment for Vernon and his family as they deal with everything that’s happened.
And Anita will be there for him every step of the way. She’ll try to soothe him, console him, and support him no matter what.
There’s a reason there’s a saying about behind every successful/strong man is a strong woman, and she embodies that.
