‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to visit Fairmont Crest and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Monday, January 12 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one.
Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) will struggle dealing with her test results saying she has the mutated gene. Thankfully, Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) will be there for her.
Meanwhile, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) will pay them a visit.
Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will warn her Dani’s not dressed, but Anita won’t care. This is when we think Andre will refuse to let her go into the bedroom.
Nicole may be there, or Dani may be wanting some alone time. This could be a mistake on Andre’s part, but he’ll own it.
On a side note, it looks like Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) and Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) will have a much needed talk about Nicole.
Never mind it’s every level of wrong for Carlton to be dating his friend and partner’s ex-wife without asking him first. That will be part of this talk, but we think they’ll set boundaries.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Monday, January 12: Protected on all sides
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how the Duprees come together and help each other. Dani’s going to need a good dose of that after getting her test results back.
Nicole will comfort her as much as possible and Andre might try to keep Anita from disturbing her.
There’s no chance Anita will listen to him, and this may be how she learns about Dani having the gene.
It’ll break her heart, but she may be what Dani needs. After all, the gene isn’t a guarantee Dani will have cancer. Since Anita does, it could open up some tough love.
We don’t really expect that, but depending on how Anita’s feeling, she may not have much patience at the moment.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Monday, January 12: Time for a Ted talk
This is a conversation that needed to happen months ago. It’s a respect and common decency thing where Carlton should’ve not chased after Nicole or asked Ted first.
Instead, he dove in to please his own desires and we’re convinced Nicole started to date him to hurt Ted.
So now, the two men will have a talk about where they stand in Nicole’s life.
Ted will expect to be her priority out of habit, but Carlton should be the one now. That will definitely be a sticking point.
But when it comes to his kids, we don’t see Ted letting Carlton in at all, and we don’t think Nicole will either. They’ll leave it up to their adult children, but their whole lives they’ve known Ted.
Carlton will be the outsider on that one.
This will be a good scene even if it’s months too late, and it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
