‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to close the week out with our final visit to Fairmont Crest.
The episode for Friday, January 9 will amp the ongoing drama over Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie)’s cancer treatment.
After a week of the storylines focusing on this, we’re ready for a break. But before the weekend, we’ll go to treatment with Anita as her chemo therapy will start.
Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) will be beside himself and looking for anything to distract him from worry.
Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) may give that momentary escape to him, but it’ll be with bad news Vernon doesn’t need.
Meanwhile, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely) and Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) will get the results of their own BRCA tests.
Unfortunately, we probably won’t learn the results until next week. They’re really drawing this storyline out like a real life one.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, January 9: Sisters forever
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers have been waiting to see how Dani and Nicole handle their test results as well as what the results are.
They’ve been dreading this for obvious reasons. We’re curious if they’ll get their results together, or will they go separately.
We hope it’s the former as it’ll show their bond and nothing is closer than a brother or sister bond.
Unfortunately for us, we think we’ll have to wait until next week to find out their results. We expect either both of them to be fine, or one to have the gene.
Depending on how the writers handle this, it’ll be interesting to see how things play out and who will react to what.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, January 9: Vernon’s bad news
With Anita beginning her treatment, Vernon will be there for her in every way he can be. He’ll fight against his fears and try to remain positive.
Like most of us, he’ll be looking for some kind of escape to help refresh himself to better pray and support Anita.
His prayers will be answered in part by Martin, but we think Martin’s news won’t be good.
Most likely, it’ll be about his reelection campaign. With everything going on between Anita, Nicole, and even his son, it’s reasonable to think his campaign took a few hits.
It’ll be something he might be able to help with, but he’d rather it be good news he can look forward to sharing with Anita to make her feel better.
