‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for our first trip into Fairmont Crest and we have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Monday, December 29 looks like it’s going to be a fun one ass we’re getting a couple of twists.
Since Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) told Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) she has cancer, they’ve struggled with their new normal.
We think they’ll take a big step in this episode by telling their family about it. Anita wanted to wait until after the holidays, but this will let them hit the ground running in the new year.
Meanwhile, we doubt Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) knows the truth about Vernon and Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker). So, she’s going to look to improve her situation and hurt the Duprees.
She’ll pay Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) a visit and offer him what she knows. Maybe she’s looking for a payout or favor owed, or just looking to do damage.
It’ll be fun to see Joey’s reaction.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers expect Vernon to go to an appointment with Anita. Afterwards, he’ll voice how he believes they should tell their children.
Anita will want to wait, but if the cancer spreads faster she’ll agree.
It’ll give everyone the chance to process things and rally around Anita. She’s seen so much love over Christmas, and we think even more will be coming her way to beat her cancer.
This will be a tough scene, but it’ll be a good one as they’ll bring the feels big time.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Monday, December 29: Leslie falls on her face
We have little doubt Leslie will try to hurt the Duprees for what she thinks she knows. She just can’t get out of her own way, and every step forward she takes, she takes three back.
In this instance, we think she’ll look to parlay what she knows into a favor from Joey. Since it’d give him power over Vernon and Anita, she’ll think it’s a slam dunk.
We don’t think he’ll believe her and he will probably know what really happened from Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli).
He’ll be polite in refusing, but Leslie will push her luck and he’ll point out the facts and how he has no intention of causing the Duprees harm.
Maybe he’ll decide to play with her a little and let her hang herself instead? What do you think Joey will do? Let us know in the comments below.
