‘Beyond the Gates’ spoilers confirm that another soap fan-favorite has joined the cast of BTG. Ashley Jones, who is best known for her roles as Meghan Dennison on The Young and the Restless from 1997 to 2001 and as Dr. Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2004 to 2010.

From 2016 to 2017, she had a recurring role on General Hospital as Parker Forsyth. The actress has also appeared in several prime-time series, like 90210, Major Crimes, Criminal Minds, and True Blood.
Soap Opera Digest was the first to reveal the news after a spokesperson for BTG shared that Jones has officially joined. Speculation is brewing over who Jones will play on the show.
So far, the details of her character and her first air date are being kept under wraps. The move reunites Jones with her former Bold and the Beautiful co-star, Karla Mosely, who plays the one and only Dani Dupree Richardson.
While on B&B, Mosely played a transgender character named Maya Avant. Bridget and Maya were in-laws on the Bill Bell soap.
The Jones BTG casting news comes after BTG fans spotted Jones in an Instagram video posted by Maurice P. Kerry, who plays Randy Parker on the show.
The footage showed the cast and crew celebrating the wonderful news that the newest soap on the block had been picked up for another two seasons and is set to run through at least 2028.
It’s a major confidence boost for the show from the CBS network. BTG debuted in February 2025 as the first hour-long African American-based daytime drama. The new soap has captivated fans ever since.
Fans can also expect an exciting multi-episode crossover between The Young and the Restless and Beyond the Gates in June 2026.

Jones has followed in the footsteps of several other daytime favorites who have made Fairmont Crest their new home.
Greg Vaughn, who was the third actor to play Lucky Spencer on General Hospital and is also well-known for his role as Eric Brady on the Peacock soap, Days of Our Lives, now plays Dr. Kial Rollins. Vaughn has shared numerous steamy love scenes with Daphnee Duplaix, who plays Nicole Dupree.
Jordi Vilasuso, who is known for his role on The Young and the Restless as Rey Rosales, now plays Grayson Perez on BTG. Grayson was introduced as a love interest for Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob).
In the video, Jones is seen standing next to Maurice P. Kerry and wearing a black sleeveless top, which she also wears in her own Instagram story.
She talked about still being at work after a long day, and it showed her pizza dinner, explaining that she was somewhere in Atlanta where BTG films.
The news that Jones is coming to Fairmont Crest comes after other major BTG casting news. Alex Alegria, who plays Tomas Navarro, has been moved to a recurring status.
Jon Lindstrom, who plays resident mobster, Joey Armstrong, and Lami, who plays Isaiah Hawthorne, have both been upgraded to contract roles.
