‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers have been wondering if Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) has been helping or hindering Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings).
Early on, they seemed to have things together. They ran several successful cons and seemed to know what they’re doing.
Then Hayley changed the game plan and murder Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) instead.
His $10 million life insurance policy is a definite flashing neon light that’d be hard for a con artist to ignore.
If Hayley actually loved him like we initially thought, she’d be set for life. Instead, she’s looking at 20 years to life.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers thought with all of their recent foul ups that Randy and Hayley were the dumbest of criminals.
They couldn’t get out of their own way with their lives, plans, and overreactions.
All of those fall squarely on Hayley.
Then there’s the issue with the poison Randy got for Hayley to use on Bill. It’s supposed to be a slow acting poison, but it doesn’t appear to be working.
The first dose seemed to, but then she doubled the dose and now needs more and Bill is showing no signs of slowing down.
She’s treating Randy like he’s an incompetent idiot, but is he one step ahead of her and she doesn’t see it?
We’ve been wondering if he gave her water instead of poison. That’s pretty smart, unless he’s dumb enough to think Hayley would give up on a fortune.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers: A cop or caring cousin?
Our first thought was Randy is trying to protect Hayley from herself.
After all, he tried to talk Doug McBride (Jason Graham) out of confronting Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
Doug didn’t listen and had an ‘accident’, and now Randy is facing the same future with Joey. The difference is he’s trying to protect Hayley.
We don’t think his plan will work, but maybe there’s another reason? What if Randy is a cop?
It’s a fan theory that’s being bounced around and it’s a definite possibility.
It’d take some judicious rewriting of their history, but the show did that before when Hayley monologued her life story before turning attempted murderess.
Randy could be a dirty cop who won’t cross the murder line, or an informant.
That could explain why he came back to work for Joey and trying to stop Hayley.
He’d want to protect her, but he may not be able to much longer
Is Randy trying to save Hayley or is he a bumbling idiot like she says?
