Beyond Salem spoilers reveal the second season of the Peacock spin-off gave fans a treat. Peter Reckell returned in his role of Bo Brady, alongside Kristian Alfonso as Hope Brady. The pair even shared a scene together. So, how was it? And what did this new viewer think of meeting Bo?

So, this writer started watching after Bo had died. So, we had no idea what to expect when his return was announced. However, going by his brief return on Days of Our Lives, we realized there was no magical resurrection adding him to the mix. Well, not yet. Overall, we really enjoyed our introduction to the character.
First off, it was obvious who Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) took after more after seeing him in action. His stubborn insistence of watching over his family, despite being forbidden to as punishment for playing God with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) was definitely something we could see Ciara doing. His back and forth with fellow angel Angela (Loretta Devine) was great. It showed a level of sass and sarcasm that would make Ciara proud of her father. And we could see her similarly chastising herself for not being able to make the viewing screen work, despite their shared automotive skills.

Later on, we were able to see the couple together again. Beyond Salem spoilers reveal Hope died after being shot by Thomas Banks (Eileen Davidson). Naturally, she ended up sharing some time with Bo and their late son. It was a nice moment, and the flashbacks they put in to the series was surely satisfying for fans of the couple. But he also made a huge sacrifice for her. He gave up a chance to return to save Hope, which we thought was a great way to close out their brief return. However, there was much more.
‘Beyond Salem’ Spoilers: What’s next?
So, it seems Bo isn’t exactly in the “dead” category anymore. He was rewarded for using his second chance to save Hope. However, we’re not sure how much of a reward it will turn out to be. After all, he was seen coming back to life after Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) used the prisms to revive him. This does, of course, open the door to the character returning to the main series, should Reckell want to. However, it feels like it wouldn’t be right without his daughter around. From what we’re hearing, it sound more like the PTB is hoping for a third installment of Beyond Salem where they can continue what they started. It definitely feels that’s the better venue for it. It’s much more likely to get the rest of the family together there than to return to DOOL full-time. Whatever form other appearances take, we’ll be looking forward to it.
