‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) has been away ever since new episodes went into production. With Alfonso being firm in saying she won’t be returning, the future of the character is in question. However, Alfonso’s isn’t. Let’s take a look at the latest news, along with the DOOL dilemma they need to solve.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Goodbye
So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Hope made a very sudden departure. Obviously, we’re not faulting the writers or the actress here. The real-world situation and other factors seemed to come together and make her decision. However, this does leave a problem. Hope is supposedly off in search of truth in Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal’s) disappearance.
Obviously, the writers had to improvise a bit, but it can’t last. Hope’s a determined woman, but even she shouldn’t—and likely won’t—spend the rest of her life isolated from her family.
Either Ciara will be found alive, or they’ll prove once and for all she’s dead. And not just soap dead. This outcome, of course, depends on Konefal and the writers. They made it clear when they announced she’s leaving that Konefal wasn’t coming back full-time.
That suggests more appearances, and we don’t think they’ll have a ghost Ciara showing up in perpetuity. If that’s the case, there’s no reason for Hope to stay gone. If it isn’t? Well, again, we don’t see her staying away the rest of her life.
That means they’ll come to a point where a decision needs to be made—kill off Hope, or recast. We personally vote for a recast, because other recasts worked well for us. And she’s a big character for the show. While this is all still a big question mark, we know where to see Alfonso next.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Lifetime bound
Recently, Alfonso announced online she would appear in a movie series based on VC Andrews stories. The movies center on the story of young Ruby Landry.
She’s raised by a spiritual healer grandmother and is happy as can be in the Louisiana Bayou, but this is a VC Andrews story. So, of course, the lead character will be caught in some big, dark family secret. Expect lots of betrayal and drama. Hmm. Sounds like Alfonso didn’t stray too far from her roots here.
After watching the promo for it, it’s clear Alfonso is playing a darker character in this production, and we’re kind of looking forward to that. Even if she’s giving us Olivia Foxworth vibes.
That would be the grandmother from Flowers in the Attic, a religious fanatic who’d locked her grandchildren in an attack for years. Highlights of the trailer include Ruby (Raechelle Banno) introduced as Gisselle Dumas’ (Karina Banno) sister. How does she respond? “I don’t accept that.” We love other character already.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Premiere
The series of movies are based on four books: Ruby, Pearl in the Mist, All that Glitters, and Hidden Jewel. The movies will air during the weekends of March 20-21 and March 27-28. They’ll air at 8 PM Eastern. If you’re a fan, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate these are your best bet to see Alfonso in action.
