There were a lot of people looking forward to the Super Bowl halftime show this year. With Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, we knew it would be a hell of a show. Not to mention a surprise visit from 50 Cent.

It wasn’t just us that were excited though, as even players in the game wanted to see the show. Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson stayed out of the locker room at halftime to watch the show and it looked like he really enjoyed himself out there, as was nearly every other single person watching the show!

McPherson was joined by long snapper Clark Harris and he even told The Post’s Mark Cannizzaro during the week that he planned on ditching the Bengal’s locker room during halftime to watch the incredible halftime show. Looks like he is a man of his word!

“Everybody that’s going to be on that halftime stage are people that I grew up listening to my whole life — Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg — so, I’m going to just stay on the field at halftime and watch the halftime show,” Harris said.

McPherson kicked a 29-yard field goal in he first half of the gaming before drilling a 38-yarder in the third quarter. It looks like he didn’t need that halftime speech anyways.

Unfortunately, the Bengals would lose to the Los Angeles Rams 23-20, but overall it was a pretty good game with only a few officiating calls I think people would want back. Congratulations to Matt Stafford though! One year out of Detroit made him a Super Bowl winner!
