‘All my Children’ Spoilers tells that since 2011, use true fans of All My Children  have wondered just what on earth the good people of Pine Valley have gotten up to. After all, some of us grew up with the exploits of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) , Palmer Cortlandt (James Mitchell), and Haley and Mateo Santos (Kelly Ripa and Mark Conseulos).

Well now, it looks like thanks to Kelly Ripa, Mark Conseulos, and Robert Nixon, son of the original creator Agnes Nixon, it looks like All My Children may just get a primetime reboot at ABC called Pine Valley. It will showcase the exploits of a journalist who comes to town to investigate the town’s bloody goings on.

‘All my Children’ Spoilers: AMC Reboot “Pine Valley” in the works?

Did Erica finally go insane and murder half the town? Was it Haley? Is that why Tad ended up under an assumed identity in Port Charles, he was just trying not to die? (Kidding here, we all know that Michael E. Knight is happily playing another character now.)

Currently, there are no deals with the former cast in place, but there are plans to ask all of them at one point to do cameos, which will be interesting. My personal favorite was Opal Cortlandt (Jill Larson), whom I do hope will be asked back at one point. I would love to see what Opal is like these days.

Granted, she’s probably in a retirement home in Pine Valley somewhere but that doesn’t mean she isn’t spry. She was still around when the  Prospect Park web series ended in 2013.

My other favorites were Tad and Dixie, but Michael E. Knight has other commitments and Cady McClain has now taken the role of Jennifer Horton on Days of Our Lives so I don’t think we’ll be seeing those two anytime soon unless someone comes back as a ghost.

The last time we saw Dixie, she got killed off permanently after eating poisoned pancakes meant for daughter-in-law Babe, leaving Tad all alone. Have to say, Babe is one character I hope they don’t bring back, I kind of stopped watching because of her. She was irritating, or at least I thought so.

The daughters of Erica I was kind of fond of though, like Kendall, Bianca, and Greenleigh, so if they bring those characters back that would be nice. The plans are that there’s going to be some new blood in Pine Valley as well as some old favorites, so we have to wonder just who that is going to be.

So far, the plans have just been announced but we at DSD will keep you updated as details come out. Does this possibly mean that they could bring back One Life to Live? Fingers crossed! Stay tuned!!!
